Turn onto Rte. 635, Rockfish School Lane.
Turn Right just after the recycling area, into the Rockfish Valley
Community Center parking lot.
Use the (Purple Wall) entrance
which is towards the back of the building next to the
(Treasure Chest Thrift Store).

The Center is located at 190 Rockfish School
Lane (State Route 635 West), off of Rt. 151, in Northwest Nelson
County, Virginia. About 8 miles south of US 250 and approximately 3
miles north of the village of Nellysford.

RVCC was home of “The Earl Hamner Theater“ for about 8years as of September 2012.
Rockfish Valley Community Center has 24,600 square feet of space in the building and 10.7 acres of land which present unlimited possibilities. The front section of the old school has a main open room which can facilitate a large assembly for wedding receptions, dances, birthday parties, and other community gatherings. Sports such as basketball, volleyball and aerobics can be comfortably accommodated. In the older section of the building there are 14 classrooms, an office and a small library. The kitchen is in an addition near the center of the building. A 1976addition put 6 more large classrooms on the back wing. These more modern rooms are complete with separate heating and bathroom facilities.
